Joyful celebrations mark the three days of Guru Nanak Jayanti festival. The Akhand Path is structured within Gurudwaras. The Akhand Path involves reading the Sikh community’s spiritual book nonstop for 48 hours. On the eve of this priceless celebration, a procession headed by Panj Pyaras will be held.
The procession, which travels throughout the state of Punjab, will feature the carrying of the Sikh flag. Early in the morning on the day of the festival, people will sing Asa-di-Var.
