Sarfaraz Khan: Early Days & Domestic Career
In a Harris Shield match, he scored 439 runs, shattering Sachin Tendulkar’s 45-year record for the highest total in Mumbai’s Inter-school competition. In Mumbai’s Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 competition final match against Baroda, his team needed three runs from the penultimate ball, and he struck a scooped six to win that match.
Entry into the Uttar Pradesh Team
Sarfaraz played his first Ranji match with Mumbai against Bengal in 2014. Given that his father is from Azamgarh, it was stated in July 2015 that Sarfaraz will be joining Uttar Pradesh prior to the 2015–16 domestic season.

Cricketer Sarfaraz Khan’s IPL Journey
The IPL franchise Royal Challengers Bangalore paid 50 lakhs for Khan at the 2015 IPL auction. Sarfaraz made history by being the IPL’s youngest player. In an IPL 2015 encounter in Bangalore against Rajasthan Royals, he scored a rapid 45 runs off 21 balls, stealing the show.
He was acquired by the Kings XI Punjab in the December 2018 Indian Premier League player auction. He was acquired by the Delhi Capitals in February 2022 during the Indian Premier League 2022 auction.
